"From Roots to Routes" is a workshop promoted by the EDIDesK project (Open Access Contents on Design for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion for Higher Education Programmes), funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (KA220-HED). The workshop addresses a key challenge in Design Education – introducing EDI in Design Studies through unbiased content and shared teaching and learning protocols – and showcases EDIDesK’s main results: 1. the "EU Framework for teaching Design for EDI" and 2. the "EDIDesK digital teaching and learning platform", an open-access platform where teaching resources can be searched, explored, adopted, reused, and contributed. The format chosed for the workshop combines short introductions, guided demonstrations, interactive live demos, along with open Q&A sessions record participants’ priorities for adoption and contribution.
